In a strong oxidizing environment, the corrosion resistance of Type X6CrNiNb18-10 stainless steel is slightly improved compared to Type 321 stainless steel. Type HuaNickel X6CrNiNb18-10 is stable with a column and is more suitable for aqueous and cryogenic environments due to its good resistance to intergranular attack. Both HuaNickel X6CrNiNb18-10 and 321 are resistant to good polysulfuric acid stress corrosion cracking.
