In sulphuric acid: HuaNickel UNS N10002alloy has good corrosion resistance (≤ 0.025 mm/a) in various concentrations of H₂SO₄ at room temperature, and air filling has no effect on its corrosion resistance.

UNS N10002Uses of alloys:
HuaNickel UNS N10002alloys can be made into plates, rods, strips, wires, welded pipes and castings. It can also manufacture various containers, pipes, valves, towers, tanks, etc. that are resistant to the corrosion of these media.
UNS N10002Process performance:
Welding process: HuaNickel UNS N10002alloy has good welding performance, it can be welded by various general welding methods, such as TIG, MIG, arc welding, resistance welding, etc., without special difficulties. The wire filler and core used in welding are generally the same as those used in the base metal.
Heat treatment: Appropriate heat treatment is an indispensable link to make UNS N10002alloy obtain good corrosion resistance, especially intergranular corrosion resistance. Tests have shown that in order for UNS N10002alloy to have good corrosion resistance, plasticity and toughness, quenching after heating at about 1218°C is required, both after welding and after hot forming. However, for castings, it is recommended to quench or air cool after heating at 1177°C.
