UNS N08926Alloy properties:
Corrosion Resistance: UNS N08926alloy is an all-austenitic alloy with excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. This aspect of performance is typically expressed in terms of critical pitting temperature (CPT), critical crevice corrosion temperature (CCT), and pitting equivalent coefficient (PREN). UNS N08926has excellent corrosion resistance, even in strong acid environments.
High temperature resistance: The presence of nickel allows the material to maintain structural stability and tensile strength at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in high-temperature industrial environments.
Good mechanical properties: high strength, good toughness and strong adaptability.
UNS N08926Uses of alloys:
UNS N08926 is a superalloy with extremely high corrosion resistance to a wide range of media, a characteristic that makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.
UNS N08926Process performance:
Welding process:
HuaNickelUNS N08926 alloy can be easily welded using existing technologies, such as GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW and PAW. The corrosion test after welding showed that the corrosion resistance of the 6% alloy was reduced after self-fusing welding or matching wire welding.
Machining: The machinability of UNS N08926 is similar to that of other austenitic alloys. The UNS N08926 alloy should be cut at a lower speed compared to stainless steel, while a more rigid tool should be used with suitable cooling and lubricants.
