UNS N06617Alloy properties:
High temperature properties: HuaNickel UNS N06617 alloy has high mechanical properties over a wide temperature range. One of the outstanding properties of this alloy is the level of strength it maintains at higher temperatures. The alloy’s resistance to high-temperature corrosion enhances the use of its strength
Corrosion resistance: The alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, especially at high temperatures and in highly corrosive media.
Oxidation resistance: UNS N06617 alloy has good oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
UNS N06617Uses of alloys:
UNS N06617 alloy is attractive for use in conduits, combustion tanks and conversion linings on aircraft and land-based gas turbines. Due to its resistance to high-temperature corrosion, the alloy is used in catalytic grid support in nitric acid production, hanging blue in heat treatment, and concentrated discs in molybdenum refining. UNS N06617 alloy is used in components for fuel and nuclear applications.
UNS N06617Process performance:
Welding process:HuaNickel UNS N06617 alloy is a nickel-based superalloy with excellent high-temperature strength, corrosion resistance and good weldability. This alloy is suitable for a variety of welding methods, including tungsten electrode arc welding, manual arc welding, pulse arc welding, and shielding gas arc welding. Before welding, the material must be in a solution treatment state, and the surface needs to be kept clean and free of oil stains.
Heat treatment: The heat treatment process includes solution treatment. In addition, there are methods of water quenching or air cooling after annealing for heat treatment to suit different application needs.
