NS321Alloy properties

The solid solution treatment state of this alloy is a supersaturated solid solution, and there will be intermetallic phases such as Ni₄Mo(β), Ni₃Mo(y), carbides such as Mo₆C and M₂C precipitated on the matrix and along the grain boundaries at medium temperature, which will have an adverse effect on the properties of this alloy.

NS321Uses of alloys:

HuaNickel NS321 alloy can produce plates, tubes (welded pipes), wires, strips, forgings and castings. The main use is resistance to hydrochloric acid corrosion. At the same time, the performance of moisture resistance HCl gas, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid resistance is also very good. Therefore, NS321 alloy is mostly used in the manufacture of containers and linings, pipelines, tower grooves, pumps, valves, etc. that are resistant to the above media. In addition, the cathode material for the manufacture of electron tubes made of ultra-thin strip and ultra-fine wire of 0Mo28Ni65Fe alloy has also achieved satisfactory results.

NS321Process performance:

Welding process: HuaNickel NS321 alloy has good weldability, which is similar to general austenitic stainless steel, and can be welded by common methods in industry, such as TIG, MIG, manual arc welding, resistance welding, etc.

Heat treatment: Whether it is a deformed material or a casting, the use state of NS321 alloy is generally a solid solution. Because at this time, the alloy has the best corrosion resistance, strong and toughness of the good combination.
