HuaNickel Haynes 188 is a Co-Ni-Cr based solution-strengthened superalloy with a service temperature of less than 1100°C. Tungsten is added to the alloy for solution strengthening, so that the alloy has good comprehensive properties; A higher content of chromium and trace lanthanum are added to make the alloy have good high-temperature oxidation resistance. The alloy has good process properties such as cold and hot processing plasticity and welding.

Haynes 188Alloy properties:

In the manufacturing process of alloy plate machined parts, any process (such as heat treatment, welding, etc.) should be prevented from carburizing and copper pollution, so as not to damage the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the alloy. The corrosion resistance of alloy plates is better than that of GH3536 alloy.

Haynes 188Uses of alloys:

Haynes 188 alloy has been used to make high-temperature components such as combustion chambers, flame barrels, and guide vanes in aero engines. Similar alloys are also widely used in high-temperature components of gas turbines and missiles, such as combustion chambers, tail nozzles, and heat exchangers in the nuclear industry.

Welding process:HuaNickel  Haynes 188 alloy has good welding performance, and various welding processes can be used, among which argon arc welding has the best connection effect, and the joint strength and plasticity are less reduced.

Surface treatment process: The surface oxide film formed by Haynes 188 alloy after heating is firmly combined with the matrix, and it is not easy to wash off by cleaning the stainless steel oxide scale, but the oxide scale should be removed by the composite alkali pickling process.
