HuaNickel Hastelloy C corrosion resistant alloy is a nickel-based alloy that is mainly composed of elements such as nickel, molybdenum, chromium, iron, etc. It has excellent corrosion resistance and high temperature strength, and is suitable for corrosive environments in acidic and alkaline environments. In addition, Hastelloy C alloy has low permeability and good thermal expansion properties, so it is widely used in the aerospace, petrochemical and nuclear industries.

Hastelloy CAlloy properties:

In sulphuric acid: Hastelloy C alloy has good corrosion resistance (≤ 0.025 mm/a) in various concentrations of H₂SO₄ at room temperature, and air filling has no effect on its corrosion resistance.

Hastelloy CUses of alloys:

HuaNickel Hastelloy C alloys can be made into plates, rods, strips, wires, welded pipes and castings. It can also manufacture various containers, pipes, valves, towers, tanks, etc. that are resistant to the corrosion of these media.

Hastelloy CProcess performance:

Welding process: HuaNickel Hastelloy C alloy has good welding performance, it can be welded by various general welding methods, such as TIG, MIG, arc welding, resistance welding, etc., without special difficulties. The wire filler and core used in welding are generally the same as those used in the base metal.

Heat treatment: Appropriate heat treatment is an indispensable link to make Hastelloy C alloy obtain good corrosion resistance, especially intergranular corrosion resistance. Tests have shown that in order for Hastelloy C alloy to have good corrosion resistance, plasticity and toughness, quenching after heating at about 1218°C is required, both after welding and after hot forming. However, for castings, it is recommended to quench or air cool after heating at 1177°C.
