The alloy can be used for long periods of time below 950°C and for short periods of time below 1000°C. The alloy has good oxidation resistance, high plasticity, high thermal strength and good resistance to cold and heat fatigue.

GH16 Alloy properties:
High temperature resistance: It has excellent high temperature resistance, can work for a long time at high temperatures from 700°C to 850°C, and can maintain stable mechanical properties and oxidation resistance.
Corrosion resistance: The alloy can still show good corrosion resistance in high temperature and corrosive media, and has excellent acid, alkali and salt resistance.
High strength performance: It has high yield strength and tensile strength, and can withstand large stress and working load in high temperature environment.
Fatigue properties: After special treatment, the alloy has excellent fatigue life and fatigue strength.
GH16 Uses of alloys:
HuaNickel GH16 alloy has been used in the manufacture of aero engine combustion chamber plate stamping parts and welded structural parts and other high-temperature parts, such as load-bearing elements, structural shells, mounting edges, mounts and pipe joints, as well as parts that work for a short time below 1000°C.
GH16 Process performance:
Welding process: The alloy has good welding process performance. It can be joined by argon arc welding and contact welding; Automatic argon arc welding without filler should adopt a small welding current and a lower welding speed, otherwise it is easy to produce undercut defects. Since the oxidation resistance of the alloy is slightly worse than that of nickel-based alloys, attention should be paid to strengthening the protection during argon arc welding.
Heat treatment: the only heat treatment method for parts is solution treatment; The final solution treatment temperature is 1160°C±10°C, and the intermediate heat treatment temperature is 1080°C±10°C, and the solution temperature is 1000°C or higher to relieve welding stress. Before heat treatment, the surface oil, cutting coolant and other dirt should be cleaned to avoid local corrosion of the surface during heat treatment.
