HuaNickel DZ5 is a nickel-based precipitation hardening directional solidified columnar superalloy with a service temperature below 1000°C. The alloy is the same composition as the K405 alloy except for carbon and zirconium. Compared with K405 alloy, the mechanical properties are increased by 4~6 times at medium temperature, 3~4 times by 3~4 times, about 1 times by about 1 time at high temperature, and about 10 times by about 10 times in cold and heat fatigue resistance. The structure and properties of the alloy are stable, and the casting performance is good. The main products are turbine working blades and guide vanes.

DZ5 Alloy properties:

DZ5 alloy blades can be coated by vapor phase, or slurry infiltration Al, or vapor phase physical deposition process. The alloy is structurally stable after long-term aging, and does not precipitate the TCP phase.

DZ5 Uses of alloys:

DZ5 alloy has been used in the manufacture of turbine and guide vanes for aero engines, as well as other high-temperature components.

DZ5 Application field process performance:

Welding process: HuaNickel DZ5 alloy can be vacuum brazing and argon arc welding.

Parts heat treatment: notBal blades should be carried out under vacuum or protective atmosphere, heat treatment specification is: 1220°C±10°C×4h/AC+870°C±10°C× 32h/AC.
