DD404Alloy properties:
DD404 alloy can be surface treated using solid or vapor phase permeability Al as well as vapor phase physical deposition. After 1000h exposure at 850°C and 950°C, the microstructure remained unchanged except for the slight growth of the γ’ phase, and no TCP phase precipitation was found.
DD404Uses of alloys:
HuaNickel DD404 alloy has been used to make high-temperature components for advanced aero engines. The alloy is suitable for making turbine rotors with an actual service temperature of about 1000°C, guide vanes and other high-temperature parts at about 1050°C.
DD404Process performance:
Heat treatment: Parts should be carried out under vacuum or argon protective atmosphere, Heat treatment specification is: 1260 °C± 10 °C× 2h/WQ+1080 °C± 10 °C× 4h/AC+900 °C± 10 °C×16h/AC.
