HuaNickel Alloy28 alloy is an iron-nickel-based ultra-low carbon austenitic alloy. Excellent corrosion resistance in harsh corrosive media in the chemical industry; In wet phosphoric acid, it has good overall corrosion resistance, and also has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, intergranular corrosion, stress corrosion and other properties. The process properties of this alloy are similar to those of general austenitic stainless steels. In view of its excellent comprehensive properties, the alloy has been widely used in chemical processing, oil and gas field development and other industries in recent years.

Alloy28Alloy properties:

HuaNickel Alloy28 alloy is a non-magnetic completely austenitic structure, but after a long time of aging at 500~720 °C, it will precipitate carbides and intermetallic phases (σ,x) that are harmful to performance on the matrix and grain boundaries.

Alloy28Uses of alloys:

Alloy28 alloy is mainly used in the production of wet phosphoric acid.

Alloy28Process performance:

Welding process: HuaNickel Alloy28 has good welding performance and no tendency to crack hot. There is no need for preheating before welding, no heat treatment is required after welding, and conventional welding methods such as manual arc welding and TIG welding can be used. The most ideal method is TIG welding.

Heat treatment: solution annealing temperature is 1080~1140 °C, the holding time depends on the maximum cross-sectional size of the workpiece, the cooling method is water cooling, and rapid air cooling can also be used for small cross-sectional sizes.
