One of the most outstanding properties of HuaNickel 1.4529 alloy is its excellent corrosion resistance to chloride and halide-containing environments. HuaNickel 1.4529 is a super austenitic stainless steel that contains 6% molybdenum and improves performance by adding nitrogen. It contains nickel and chromium that make it resistant to corrosion in a wide range of corrosive environments. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. The high molybdenum content and nitrogen make it resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion, and the copper content improves its resistance to sulfuric acid.

1.4529Alloy properties:

Corrosion Resistance:

HuaNickel 1.4529 alloy is an all-austenitic alloy with excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. This aspect of performance is typically expressed in terms of critical pitting temperature (CPT), critical crevice corrosion temperature (CCT), and pitting equivalent coefficient (PREN). 1.4529 has excellent corrosion resistance, even in strong acid environments.

High temperature resistance: The presence of nickel allows the material to maintain structural stability and tensile strength at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in high-temperature industrial environments.

Good mechanical properties: high strength, good toughness and strong adaptability.

1.4529Uses of alloys:

1.4529 is a superalloy with extremely high corrosion resistance to a wide range of media, a characteristic that makes it suitable for a wide range of applications.

1.4529Process performance:

Welding process: 1.4529 alloy can be easily welded using existing technologies, such as GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW and PAW. The corrosion test after welding showed that the corrosion resistance of the 6% alloy was reduced after self-fusing welding or matching wire welding.

Machining: The machinability of 1.4529  is similar to that of other austenitic alloys. The 1.4529  alloy should be cut at a lower speed compared to stainless steel, while a more rigid tool should be used with suitable cooling and lubricants.
