Alloy242 Haynes242 Alloy242 is an age-hardening nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy. It has tensile and creep strength properties up to 1200 – 1300°F (649 – 704°C), which is twice as high as solution strengthened alloys. The thermal expansion characteristics of Alloy242 are much lower than those of most other alloys and it has very good oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1500°F (816°C). Other attractive properties include excellent low-cycle fatigue properties, very good thermal stability, and resistance to high-temperature fluorine and fluoride environments. Alloy159 UNS R30159 MP159 Alloy159 is a new type of high-strength multiphase cobalt-based superalloy. Its main characteristics are: the cold deformation is used to induce the cross-network distribution of sheet ε phases in the face-centered cubic matrix to prevent the long-range movement of the dislocation and produce strengthening, and then the diffuse Ni₃X phase is precipitated by aging treatment to supplement the strengthening. The alloy has comprehensive properties such as ultra-high strength, good plasticity and high stress corrosion resistance, and can still maintain its high-strength characteristics at high temperatures of 650C. This alloy can be widely used not only in high-temperature fastening bolts and other parts of aero engines, but also in ultra-high-strength fasteners for aircraft in service in stress corrosion environments (such as marine and atmospheric environments).
Alloy41 UNS N07041 Rene41 Alloy41 is a precipitation hardening nickel-based deformed superalloy with high tensile and long-lasting creep strength and good oxidation resistance in the range of 650~900°C. Due to the high content of aluminum, titanium and aluminum in the alloy, it is difficult to open the ingot blank, but the deformed material has good plasticity, and can be cold formed in the annealed state, and can also be welded, and the welded parts are prone to strain aging cracks during heat treatment.
