HuaNickel UNS S33207 and the aforementioned HuaNickel 00Cr27Ni7Mo5N are super duplex stainless steels. UNS S33207 was developed to meet the demanding needs of deep-sea (water depths of nearly 2500m and pressures above 1500psi). Compared with the aforementioned SAF2507, the increase in the amount of chromium and nitrogen in the steel makes HuaNickel UNS S33207 steel not only have higher strength to withstand higher applied loads, but also have more excellent corrosion resistance to meet the needs of more demanding corrosive media.

UNS S33207 Alloy properties

HuaNickel UNS S33207 has good corrosion resistance and high strength; It also has high strength and toughness, can withstand high stress and impact loads, and is suitable for engineering structures that require high strength.

UNS S33207 Uses of alloys:

Replacement of super austenitic stainless steels and high-nickel corrosion-resistant alloys in heat exchange equipment (seawater condensers, etc.) that use seawater as the cooling medium.

UNS S33207 Process performance:

Welding process: SAF3207 HD has good weldability. Welding must be carried out without preheating and usually does not require subsequent heat treatment. A suitable fusion welding method is tungsten electrode thermoelectric welding with gas shielding gas Ar+2%N2 GTAW/TIG. For tube-to-tube sheet welding, it is recommended to use Ar+3% N2 as shielding gas to obtain a proper welded metal structure.
