00Cr30Mo2TiNb is an improved super ferritic stainless steel with ultra-low carbon, nitrogen and Ti+Nb double stabilized high-purity Cr30Mo2. The latter can be produced by off-furnace refining processes such as VOD due to the increase of the amount of C+N to ≤0.03%, which not only reduces the production cost, but also makes 00Cr30Mo2TiNb have better intergranular corrosion resistance and can refine the grains due to the double stabilization of Ti+Nb, but the toughness will be lost.

00Cr30Mo2TiNb is a typical high-chromium-molybdenum ferritic stainless steel, their microstructure is a pure ferrite structure with body-centered cube, and there are α’ phases and σ(x) intermetallic phases and carbon and nitride phases on the matrix during the aging process.

00Cr30Mo2TiNb4Uses of alloys:

It can be used as a heat exchange equipment for water medium containing Cl- (including seawater) as coolant; It can be used for evaporators in the diaphragm alkali production process, acetic acid, urea-resistant devices and components, roofs (including eaves), curtain walls and various decorative materials for large coastal buildings (airports, restaurants, large landmark buildings, etc.).

00Cr30Mo2TiNb4Process performance:

Welding process: 00Cr30Mo2TiNb has good weldability, no intergranular corrosion tendency after welding, and there is no obvious difference in corrosion resistance before and after welding in some corrosive media.

Heat treatment: The heat treatment process of 0 0Cr30Mo2TiNb steel is 900~1050 °C heating, heat preservation and quenching.
