Due to the high amount of chromium and molybdenum in HuaNickel 00Cr29Mo4TiNb, there will be σ phases, nitride and carbide phase precipitation during medium temperature aging (such as welding, thermal working and hot forming, etc.), which will lead to the reduction of plasticity, toughness and corrosion resistance of this steel, so measures need to be taken to prevent it in the production and welding process of this steel.

Welding process:HuaNickel 00Cr29Mo4TiNb has good weldability, and this steel can produce welded pipes. In the manufacturing process of heat exchange equipment, such as seawater condenser, there is no difficulty in welding 00Cr29Mo4TiNb steel pipe to tube sheet.
Heat treatment: The heat treatment process of this steel is 950~1100 °C heating, heat preservation and fast cooling.
